Abstract

Background: Neuroeducation has emerged as a growing field that integrates neuroscientific principles into educational processes, demonstrating its importance for understanding diversity, inclusion, and pedagogical improvement. Objective: This study aimed to examine the evolution, productivity, research trends, and future projections of Neuroeducation through a bibliometric approach. Methodology: A mixed-methods bibliometric study was conducted using a systematic search in Scopus, identifying 278 documents, with 98 open-access publications. Research questions were defined, and indicators such as annual scientific production, main sources, average citations per year, authors' productivity, and countries' scientific contribution were calculated. Results: Findings revealed sustained growth in the field, increasing attention to inclusion and diversity, and growing acceptance of neuroscience in education. Key journals, influential authors, and an expanding international research map were identified, showing the interdisciplinary consolidation of the field. Conclusions: Neuroeducation requires deeper integration of emerging technologies to address current educational challenges, reinforce neuropedagogy, and promote ethical practices. Furthermore, stronger interdisciplinary dialogue with the social sciences is necessary to advance a comprehensive and ethically grounded educational neuroscience
